Originally financed in 1927 by actor, producer, and director Charlie Chaplin, the Montecito Inn 4-star hotel is filled with reminders of its Golden Era heritage. The front desk keeps a library of Chaplin videos for complimentary use, and a frosted-glass door etched with Chaplin's silhouette leads to the conference room.
