The Beitou Hot Spring Museum is a museum about hot spring in Beitou District. The construction of the building completed in 1913 during the Japanese rule of Taiwan. It was initially built as Beitou Public Bathhouse, the largest bathhouse in East Asia at that time.
The Beitou Museum was first opened in 1983 as the "Taiwan Folk Art & Antique House." In 1984 the premises were converted to their present use as a museum of Taiwan's early folk arts and popular artifacts.
Beitou Park, with its subtropical, temperate, subtropical and tropical diversity ecotypes, was built in 1913 and is equivalent to Japan's Meiji Period and Taisho Period.
