The purpose-built 8 bedroom guest house is only 10 minutes walk to Stellenbosch town centre, the University and the many bistros and restaurants in the area.
Your hosts, Noeline and Michael are well known in the restaurant and hospitality industry, having owned and worked in the industry over the past 20 years. They know exactly what is required after a full day's travel, be it as a tourist or business person.
Noeline and Michael's passion for the hospitality industry has now made a lifelong dream to own a beautiful guest house in the historic Stellenbosch, a reality.
Apple Tree Bed and Breakfast has eight spacious en-suite bedrooms, all of which are luxuriously furnished with modern finishes. The Apple Tree B & B will provide all the bedding you’ll need throughout your stay at the guesthouse.
Beds are fitted with non-allergenic pillows and white percale linen to ensure guests have a restful night’s sleep. Bedrooms at the B&B are equipped with all the comforts of home and so much more.
This includes built in cupboards, a LED television with DSTV, air con, a hair dryer and a safe for your valuables. Each bedroom has a fully stocked mini bar as well as facilities to make tea and coffee with complimentary homemade rusks for you to enjoy.
Of the eight bedrooms at the B and B, two of them are considered “super luxurious” with extra length kind size beds and large en-suite bathrooms.
Each bathroom has a spacious walk in shower and a spa bath. Three of the bedrooms have two single beds in each and the other three have queen size beds.

A double sided wood burning fireplace divides the spacious and comfortable dining area and lounge. The fireplace creates the perfect environment for the winter months.
The lounge has an LED television and comfortable seating. The dining area is equipped with a gas/wood built-in braai ideal for a traditional South African braai.
The outside patio area has a well sized saltwater pool with patio furniture, sun lounges and umbrellas.

Stellenbosch is well known for its many wine farms giving you ample opportunity to experience quality wine on one of the farms. Stellenbosch stimulates all your senses with its history, culture, natural beauty, sport, education and wine.
Apple Tree Guest House is near Bird Street and Adam Tas road making it easily accessible from Cape Town, Paarl, Franschhoek and Somerset West. This makes drives through the scenic landscape possible within minutes.
In about an hours drive you can be in Cape Town, experiencing Table Mountain or the V & A Waterfront, in Hermanus for whale-watching or in Betty's Bay at the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve.
In the surrounding area you will find many golf courses like the Stellenbosch golf course, De Zalze Golf Estate, Pearl Valley Golf Estate (en route between Paarl and Franschhoek) as well as professional golf courses in Somerset West, Strand and Gordon's Bay.
Coastal drives and hiking at one of the nearby nature reserves are also possible. The romantics at heart can also enjoy a picnic on one of the wine farms, local beaches or nature reserves.
