Overlooking the sparkling blue waters of Castle Harbor, Rosewood Tucker's Point offers guests the sophisticated elegance of a spa resort with the relaxing casual ambiance of the islands.
Located only 90 minutes by air from the U.S. eastern seaboard, the island's British and African heritage give it a personality unlike anything else in the world.
As Britain's oldest colony, the British influence continues to dominate government, educational and legal institutions.
One may spot a Bermudian judge walking through the capital of Hamilton in a powdered wig, see a bobby directing traffic or overhear a passionate conversation about a local cricket match.
African influences, while subtler, can be found in dance and music, especially reggae, calypso and the rhythm of the Gombeys – magnificent dancing and drumming troupes that often take to the streets.

The Point Restaurant & Terrace brings together international cuisine and fresh local ingredients for a fine dining experience like no other.
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurant also displays Pan Am's one-of-a-kind Sky Club murals, depicting the world's major ports of the 1880's in the unique style of Eurasian artist Gerard Henderson. Thousands of bottles of wine fill the Wine Room at The Point Restaurant & Terrace, covering the walls from the wood-plank floor to the vaulted brick ceiling.
Together with petite sconces and candlelight, it create an intimate atmosphere for dinner parties and a la carte dining. Chef Gerry Adams has taken inspiration from the Pan Am Sky Club Murals on display at the Point and created a 10-course epicurean journey highlighting the ingredients and culinary style of 19th century ports of call around the globe.
From caipirinhas and ceviche from Rio de Janeiro, to a classic Bermudian fish chowder, diners embark on a 5, 7, or 10-course journey that pleases the palate and nourishes the soul. In 1965, Juan Trippe –the founder of Pan American World Airways– stayed at Hong Kong's famed Mandarin Hotel, where he was entranced by the hotel's murals of Chinese horsemen.
He subsequently commissioned the artist, Gerard D'Alton Henderson, to create an 80-foot-long mural for the Sky Club of the Pan Am Building in New York.
Henderson filled his canvases with 19th-century Clipper ships and various international ports of call. The mural was installed in 1966 and remained until the Sky Club's 2005 closing.
At auction, Juan's son and Tucker's Point Club President Ed Trippe acquired the artwork for Tucker's Point in Bermuda.
