Sundance Bed & Breakfast offers three individually themed suites (4 bedrooms), each with its own wonderfully comfortable Westin California King or Queen “Heavenly Bed”. Some rooms have dramatically tall headboards, others, elegant four-poster coziness; all have designer bedding, free WiFi, in-room HD Flat Screen Satellite TVs, Blu-ray DVD Players and luxuriously
over-sized 100% Organic Turkish Cotton towels. With the wonderfully soft water, showering at Sundance is like bathing in liquid silk! And each room offers truly awe-inspiring views of the gardens, vineyards and surrounding rolling hills. Finally, the spectacular Sunsets at Sundance have a character all their own which will not soon be forgotten!
La Dolce Vita is a large room exquisitely decorated with a tall custom-built hand tufted California King Bed as its focal point. It offers gorgeous, Eastern and Southern views of the gardens, vineyards and surrounding hills out of its three large windows. There is an enormous bathroom containing a romantic
two-person, Jacuzzi tub, dual-head shower, and his and her sinks. As beautiful as Paso Wine Country is, you may not want to leave this room once you enter! As with all the suites, La Dolce Vita is on the second floor.
Le Rêve is a charming room that offers an elegant framed panel Queen Bed made in a classic turn-of-the-century style. Its two large windows offer Northern and Western – Sunset!
Views of the gardens, vineyards and surrounding hills. As with all the suites, Le Rêve is on the second floor.
The 50/50 Suite can be booked as a 1-bedroom or a 2-bedroom suite, giving you a choice of staying in either The Empire Room or Las Puertas al Sol. When there are only 2 of you and you want to enjoy both bedrooms, choose the “Room to Ramble” package and have a luxurious 2-bedroom suite all to yourselves!
If you’re traveling with family or friends, you can comfortably fit up to 4 people between the 2 bedrooms. The Empire Room: This room offers an elegant 19th century-style campaign iron canopy bed reminiscent of the kind British officers would use to remind them of the luxuries of home.
The rest of the room’s décor is consistent with this theme; except for the modern conveniences, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time! The Empire Room offers a California King bed and a Southern view of the gardens, vineyards and surrounding hills.
Las Puertas al Sol: “The Doors to the Sun” offers a Queen bed with a wrought iron garden gate headboard in front of three striking, weathered doors that give the room its unique appeal. Two large windows provide both a Southern and Western – Sunset! – view of the gardens, vineyards and surrounding hills.
Start your day off with a cup of deep, dark and delicious French Roast coffee at the Coffee Station in the Dining Room. Prefer decaf or one of many popular Tazo Tea blends? Feel like a glass of juice? No problem – just let know! Then get ready for a 3-course gourmet treat.
1 fruit course (like a Grilled Pear with Raspberry Coulis topped with Vanilla Marscapone Cream and Sliced Almonds), 1 pastry item (like freshly baked Cranberry-Orange Scones still warm out of the oven) and then the main entrée (like a Savory Waffle made with four Italian Cheeses topped with Norwegian Smoked Salmon, a Poached Egg and a delicious Lemon Beurre Blanc sauce). Sound good? It is! Enjoy some of the favorite red, white or rosé Central Coast wines with a little cheese every afternoon in the Dining Room or out on the Patio.
You can chat with your fellow travelers, sip some great wine or just gaze out at the view! When the hour’s over, you’ll have plenty of time to get ready to go out to any of the fabulous Paso restaurants! If your stay includes a Saturday, take the opportunity to have a Private Dinner at Sundance!
Available only to the guests and only on Saturday, the Le Cordon Bleu-trained Resident Chef will prepare an elegant and delicious Prix Fixe gourmet dinner for you to enjoy at your own private table! Each course is uniquely paired with an award-winning local wine to make the evening a memorable experience you can truly savor, from “Amuse Bouche” through Decadent Dessert! Simply choose the Private Gourmet Dinner with Wine Pairing Package when you make your reservation!

El Paso de Robles, which means “The Pass of the Oaks”, is now commonly known as Paso Robles (or just “Paso” to the locals). And today it is home to more than 200 wineries and 32,000 acres of premium wine production (still 95% family owned!). Located in the North part of San Luis Obispo County, Paso is the largest
and most diverse wine region in California. Although great wine may be the main reason to visit Paso Robles, Sundance Bed & Breakfast is ideally situated for easy access to all kinds of fun things to do and see.
Sitting atop one of California’s largest aquifers, the hot summer days, cool, breezy nights and long growing season make it an ideal location to grow grapes for making “Big Red” wines.
