Tresanton is a cluster of houses on the edge of St Mawes, one of the prettiest fishing villages in Cornwall. All rooms have views across the sea towards St Anthony’s lighthouse.

Two of the houses which make up the hotel, Rock Cottage and The Nook, can be rented as a whole to accommodate an extended family or a party of friends.
The bar serves the same menu as the main dining room in a more informal setting with an open fire and collection of board games.
Dogs are welcome on the terrace or in the Dogs’ bar.

Pinuccia is a magnificent 8 metre classic yacht. She was built in 1939 to race for Italy at an international competition and is the most beautiful boat in St Mawes harbour, with her slender line and tall wooden mast.
Built to counter an invasion threat from Catholic France and Spain, it guarded the important anchorage of Carrick Roads, sharing the task with Pendennis Castle on the other side of the Fal estuary.
There is a delightful three-mile stroll past St Mawes castle, built by Henry VIII in 1542 and through the fields beside the sea to the 14th Century church of St. Just-in-Roseland, which John Betjeman called ‘the most beautiful churchyard on earth’.
In the Summer hotel offers a fabulous barbeque lunch on a Sunday, a real feast of salads, seafood, grilled meat and a selection of desserts. Great for a large family get together.
