Centerhotel Thingholt is a luxury boutique hotel located next to Reykjavik’s main shopping street right in the heart of Reykjavík city center.

The interior design is inspired by the Icelandic nature and is a great example of Icelandic contemporary design.

CenterHotel Thingholt is designed by the Icelandic architect Gulla Jonsdottir. Gulla owns G+ Gulla Jonsdottir Design in Los Angeles and she has taken part in designing hotels in the US like Crescent Hotel in Beverly Hills and Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. The floors are made of leather tiles and the lobby walls are decorated with salmon-leather tiles.
When entering the hotel there is a long black lava textured wall covered in dark glass masks representing the hidden people of Iceland and a small waterfall trickling down over them.
The Loft suites offers a luxurious experience for those travelling in style. Split over two levels the suites feature luxurious king size beds with sofa feather bedding.
The suite has a double height lounge are with white leather sofa and a large floor to ceiling windows.
Each suite is at an average 32,3 m² in size. Access to Ísafold Spa is included.
The sofa can be turned into a sleeping sofa for EUR 75 per night.
The spacious and luxurious Junior suites offer a luxurious stay. All rooms have both a bathtub and a sofa with either a king size bed or two separate beds.
They are at an average of 27,5 m² in size.
A crib can be requested for this room for 10 EUR per night and the sofa can be turned into a sleeping bed for 75 EUR per night. Access to Ísafold Spa is included.
An upgrade to a Loft suite is possible for 75 EUR per night.
The Deluxe double/twin rooms come with either two separate beds or with one king size bed. The Deluxe rooms are at an average of 23 m² in size.
They come with either a bathtub or a sofa and two of Deluxe double/twin rooms feature bathtubs in the room.
An extra bed can be requests for 75 EUR per night and a crib is available for 10 EUR per night.
An upgrade to a junior suite is possible for 75 EUR per night.
The Standard double/twin rooms come with either two separate beds or one queen size bed. They are at an average 18,6 m² in size. A bathtub is on request.

Ísafold Restaurant is a small and beautifully decorated restaurant located at Þingholtsstræti, a charming side street in the the heart of Reykjavík city center. At Ísafold team takes pride in offering guests a tentative and personal service as well as delicious food and fun drinks.
Dedicated staff goes to great lengths to make sure the ingredients are locally sourced and the suppliers are handpicked by head chef that loves to prepare specially house made items from the local ingredients.
Wherever possible restaurant offers organic and socially responsible products. All the greens are sourced from local greenhouses and meat is 100% Icelandic including the lamb which is semi wild, bread in the Icelandic highlands during the summer months.
