A few years ago Poseidonion Grand Hotel started its own organic farm. Fresh fruit and vegetables are grown in order to meet the needs of Poseidonion and other restaurants on the island, while chickens provide fresh eggs.
In 2013 the hair expert Loizos Ioannou, together with the management of Poseidonion Grand Hotel, started the cultivation of Aloe vera at the farm.
