THE VINEYARDS
The Château’s wine estate goes back to Roman times. Mineral-rich land and a Mediterranean climate have left their marks on the wine, the tradition of which was perpetuated to such an extent by the Saporta family that it became one of the symbols of the region.
The Cahteau therefore owes the creation of the Roy René “Brotherhood of Cupbearers,” who promoted Les Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, to Louis de Saporta.
Rich in Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence AOC and Bouches du Rhône IGP, the Fonscolombe vineyards produce three different colors of wine with fine and fruity noses.
The Chateau's Merlot, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon plots are cultivated without synthetic chemicals, allowing for reds, whites, and rosés to benefit from the “Organic Wine” label.
The meeting rooms, whose size and decor have been designed especially for welcoming guests, allow the latter to behold the castle’s grounds, gardens, and illuminated sculptured fountains.
