Restaurant Dabbal serves unique tastes of Nordic nature in visually pleasing dishes.
To support this passion, Kitchen & Bar Dabbal cooperated with Pentik to create tableware which was inspired by the colours and shades of the forest.
The name of the restaurant is based on the Sami word dabbal, referring to a quiet water between rapids, which is believed to be the basis of the names Tammerkoski and Tampere. The chef uses their relaxed philosophy to combine the ingredients into elegant dishes for guests.
The dishes combine all the elements of nature from flavours to colours and from materials to diverse aromas.
Natural ingredients, such as berries, mushrooms, reindeer, and fish from lake Inari, arrive in kitchens directly from the North.
The ideology of restaurant is accentuated by the charcoal grill, which creates the authentic Lappish flavour of cooking over fire.
