The word "Molori" means "to dream" in seTswana and truly captures the essence of Molori Safari Lodge, recognized throughout the world as Southern Africa’s most luxurious game lodge.
MAGNIFICENT MADIKWE
Molori Safari is situated deep within the Madikwe Game Reserve in South Africa’s North West Province, bordering Botswana.
The secluded lodge offers absolute privacy, while taking in breathtaking views of the Dwarsberg Mountains and the expansive Madikwe valley.
At 75 000 hectares, Madikwe Game Reserve is South Africa’s fifth largest Big Five game reserve, but offers so much more than the big five. Madikwe is home to the Super Seven, which includes all Big Five species as well as cheetah and wild dog.
There are an estimated 400 wild dogs still surviving in South Africa and a large proportion of these are thriving in the Madikwe habitat. The Reserve is also home to some 350 recorded bird species.
The land consists of open grasslands and bushveld plains with scattered rocky outcrops and single mountains, and offers ideal game viewing opportunities.
Molori Safari is a child-friendly venue; children of all ages are welcome, but may be restricted to some activities.
CONSERVATION
Madikwe Game Reserve is home to the endangered African Wild Dog and has the highest concentration of rhino in Africa.Conservation is an active and important part of life here.
Molori Safari works closely with Madikwe Game Reserve in its rhino conservation efforts and guests can by arrangement be part of an extraordinary hands-on rhino tagging experience, participating in the notching, DNA sampling and micro chipping of the rhino’s horns. Guests can also participate in dog tracking experiences and learn more about this extraordinary and highly endangered species.
All suites have floor-to-ceiling retractable glass walls, which fold away completely, connecting each suite’s interior to a private deck and infinity pool. All feature indoor and outdoor showers, as well as free-standing baths, custom furniture, indoor/outdoor dining options, fireplaces, mini-bars, Bose iPod docking stations and air‐conditioning.
Both presidential suites follow the indoor/outdoor style of the other suites on a grander scale. Additionally each has a kitchen and dining area, additional guest bathrooms, rim-flow bathtub, a walk-in dressing room, and a library/study.
The beautiful Lesedi suite epitomises comfort and elegance, featuring contemporary handcrafted African pieces such as the striking zebra skin chest.
The suite’s lounge is separated from the bedroom by a cylindrical floor-to-ceiling stone-clad fireplace,
while the retractable glass walls give way to a large terrace with a private infinity pool and stunning views of the valley below.
The luxurious bathroom features a porcelain claw-footed bath and, here too, retractable glass walls that fold away so that you can immerse yourself in the surrounding nature.
The Metsi Presidential Suite contains one master bedroom and bathroom. This stunning, opulent suite mixes up contemporary design with earthy African art.
The floor-to-ceiling retractable glass walls give way to a spacious wooden deck, private infinity pool, hot spa bath and alfresco outdoor dining area. Interior spaces flow seamlessly, evoking comfort and elegance throughout.
The kitchen area and formal indoor dining room blend into the living room and lounge area. The spacious master bedroom features a walk-in dressing room and luxurious en-suite bathroom with a freestanding rim-flow bath.
The Metsi suite also has a study and library area. Of special interest is the epic collection of National Geographic magazines, dating back to the 1940s.
The spacious two-bedroom Molelo Presidential Suite combines elegance with modern African design elements, and offers a magnificent elevated view across the African landscape. Retractable floor-to-ceiling glass doors make the most of the view and give way to a spacious wooden deck, infinity pool, hot spa bath and alfresco dining area.
Thoughtfully planned to provide maximum privacy, the two bedrooms have been positioned at opposite ends of the suite and each has its own private bathroom.
The Molelo suite also has a study and library area, housing part of a cherished collection of National Geographic magazines dating back to the 1940s.

Ngwedi Suite offers a luxurious combination of comfort and elegance.
A custom-designed rose-hued sofa anchors the large living and lounge area, which also features an impressive floor-to-ceiling fireplace.
The bedroom unfolds onto a private wooden deck, which surrounds a private infinity pool.
The stunning outdoor area also features luxurious daybeds, an orbital love seat, and an outdoor shower.
An eclectic use of furniture can be found throughout the suite, combining a contemporary feel with rustic elements. Unique to this premium suite is a freestanding copper bath, situated in the luxurious bathroom where glass walls fold away so that you are immersed in the breathtaking surroundings of the Madikwe bush.
The split-level Sephiri suite has two bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom.
It can sleep up to four guests and is ideal for families.
The soothing, neutral tones offset the stunning contemporary finishes while the retractable floor-to-ceiling glass doors render nature as the backdrop.
The main area includes a spacious bedroom, stone-clad fireplace, living room and study. The expansive deck features a private infinity pool and surrounding daybeds for blissful relaxation.
Unique to Sephiri is the second floor bedroom, which features its own entrance, private bathroom and an intimate terrace with breathtaking views of the Reserve.
