Clico was established by Jeanette Schwegman, who wanted to cater for travel-weary and discerning guests. Poised to accommodate corporate guests as well as leisure seeking tourists, this 60-year old Cape Dutch building is an engaging mix of old and new.
The name Clico was inspired by Jeanette’s passion for champagne, with her favourite being Veuve Clicquot.

Clico offers nine comfortable and beautifully appointed rooms of various sizes (six queen and three king / twin-bedded). Furnished with understated warm earthy browns, creams and soft greens, each room features a mini-bar, safe, flat-screen TV with DSTV, a desk-come-dressing table, air-conditioning and under-carpet heating.
All beds are extra length and fitted with orthopedic memory foam toppers from Orthopedic Pillow to ensure you enjoy the most comfortable sleep.
A selection of teas and bodum coffee is available in each room, with fresh milk provided daily. The bedrooms all open onto the garden or feature a balcony overlooking the pool.
One room is wheelchair-accessible and another offers self-catering facilities. Business services include telephones in the rooms and free wifi throughout the establishment as well as scanning and photocopying facilities at reception.

In line with Clico’s growth and expansion over the past nine years, new restaurant was opened in October 2015 and the kitchen was refurbished and increased in size.
Another new addition was the off-street parking area, accessible from Jellicoe Avenue. Clico has become renowned for being an intimate establishment, offering personalised service, and the Clico Restaurant retains this theme.
The space is a unique architectural design where a special space has been created with a metal structure, triple volume ceilings and a flooding of natural light through the glass stack doors.
