Activities are mainly water based; boating, fishing, mokoro trips but also game drives over to the west where, depending on water levels, a boat trip to the vehicles is required.
This is one of the best areas to see the Sitatunga antelope band there are also very large herds of red Lechwe.
Hippo and crocodile are regularly sighted and tsessebe, elephant, wildebeest, zebra, lion, cheetah and leopard are often sighted on the floodplains.
Birding is excellent in the area which include large concentrations of the endangered Wattled Crane and also the Africa Skimmer is also seen on the larger lagoons.
Spend the afternoon at the hide and enjoy the fabulous birds of the area, such as slaty egrets and crowned cranes.
Trips in the eight-seater boats in the waterways to the east of camp allow for good game viewing in the channels further away.

Fishing with a limited supply of basic equipment (spinner rods and a small range of lures) is on offer seasonally on a catch-and-release basis.

Morning and afternoon game drives are offered in open 4x4 Land Rovers each accommodating a maximum of seven people allowing each guest a window seat.
A raised hide located about 20 minutes from camp. It is a great place to watch the comings and goings of wildlife. The hide is equipped with a long-drop toilet.
